Prerequisites
- Debian 11
- sudo privileges
Install Logstash on Debian 11
Step 1. Download the public GPG key.
wget -qO - https://artifacts.elastic.co/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch | sudo apt-key add -
Step 2. Install apt transport https
package.
sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https
Step 3. Add the repo to etc/apt/sources.list.d
.
echo "deb https://artifacts.elastic.co/packages/7.x/apt stable main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/elastic-7.x.list
Step 4. Update deb packages.
sudo apt-get update
Step 5. Install Logstash.
sudo apt-get install logstash
