Prerequisites
- Amazon Linux 2
- sudo privileges
Install HAProxy on Amazon Linux 2
Step 1. Update the Amazon Linux 2 packages.
sudo yum update
Step 2. Install HAProxy.
sudo yum install haproxy
Step 3. If you want to check the default haproxy
configuration, run:
cat /etc/haproxy/haproxy.cfg
Step 4. To verify version, run:
haproxy -v
Output:
HA-Proxy version 1.5.18 2016/05/10
